Dessie Farrell, Chief Executive of the GPA says no on this week's Sportscall (3rd April).

It has to go this way for the current level of the sport.
Otherwise bring back the days of training twice per week and the beer bellied full forward!!

I'm all for the beer bellied full forward....but don't like the training twice a week part!!

Teams like Armagh, Tyrone & Kerry have already taken the the game to professionalism...but their players just don't get paid for it...Not by the GAA anyway.

Other teams are catching up though
