A Cairde,
Have a little Irish in you? Would you like some? Good Irish food, drink and music that is! Members of the Taiwan Celts Sports Club are celebrating Ireland's most popular national holiday, St. Patrick's Day on:
Friday, 17th March at The Brass Monkey
Saturday 18th March at the Far Eastern Shangri La with a Buffet Banquet.
This is the perfect time to show up the Irish lads and lasses with your best Lord of the Dance impression, and at the same time win cash prizes.
Experience the fun loving, hospitable attitude and atmosphere that only the Irish and ''Irish-at-heart'' can convey, as they celebrate the beloved Saint Patrick who died March 17 in AD 461.
Irish lore credits the Saint with driving the "snakes" from Ireland and using the three-leaf clover, or shamrock, to explain the Catholic trinity to the Celtic pagans of the time. It is after these pagans that the Taiwan Celts take their name.
Ni neart go cur le cheile. Go raibh maith agat.
Mick Mc Cannon
Chairman, Taiwan Celts GFC
